Gov. Doug Burgum took executive action Monday to suspend four members of the Oberon School Board in Benson County.

That's following the results of an audit and the filing of criminal charges against them last week.

The governor's office says Carolyn Nelson, Corey Ploium, Jacob Hegland and Karen Peterson were charged with felony misapplication of entrusted property in the school district.
