DICKINSON, N.D. - A bond vote on funding for a new high school in Dickinson has failed.

According to a release from the school district, the final tally was 2,470 against and 1,463 for. Those results are unofficial until the school board certifies them.

The school district put the $89 million referendum before voters after a $115 million dollar bond failed in May.

The money would go toward replacing the 50 year old high school, which administrators say has overcrowding, HVAC and roofing issues.
