UPHAM, N.D. – The city of Upham in McHenry County is under a boil order, following a loss of water pressure this week, according to the town’s Facebook page.
A water main break impacted the town earlier this week, though the break has been fixed and water is flowing as of Thursday evening.
The boil order will remain in effect until further notice. The city has more information on its Facebook page or by calling (701) 833-3910.
Upham is the latest North Dakota town to have issues with its water supply due to late-winter freezing pipes. Sawyer, Granville, and the Belcourt area all had issues with water breaks or a loss of pressure, leaving residents without water and prompting temporary school closures. All of those towns have since regained or are regaining water service.
