Bloody Mary Festival raises money for blood cancer
Competing against each other, in honor of blood cancer awareness, local businesses prepared their best Blood Mary to be judged, but also raising money for the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation.
The 2nd annual fest recognizes blood cancer in the community and board member Tina Wetzel says it's important to see a community come together.
"It's amazing to watch a community come together. Again, it's a super fun event but you're also supporting local businesses, and they in turn are supporting a cause as well," said Tina Wetzel, Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation Board Member.
They hope to double last years fundraising amount of $3,500.
