BISMARCK, N.D. - 'Tis the season for giving and a Bismarck teen wanted to go above and beyond this holiday season to inspire others to donate to charity.
Jack Green of Bismarck is not your typical 13 year old. After watching a popular cooking show, he wanted to put his cooking skills to the test.
So, he and his mom posted on social media asking if anyone wanted donuts and each person who got them is asked to donate to Brave the Shave. Green was only hoping for a few orders but says the response was overwhelming.
"I was so surprised, I didn't think it would be so big. I thought maybe like two people would want donuts and I thought that two people was amazing, and for 20 people to do it, I thought it was incredible," said Green.
Each person who received donuts anonymously chose how much to donate.
