On Tuesday, Bismarck commissioners moved to put the half cent sales tax increase on the June ballot to pay for a community recreation center.
The complex has a $108 million price tag.
The bond council estimates it will take 15 to 20 years to pay for it, and then the half cent increase will end.
Staff still don't know where the facility will be located.
