Bismarck man arrested for ordering five pounds of meth from California

BISMARCK, N.D. - A Bismarck man is being held on a $100,000 bond for ordering five pounds of meth from California.

Michael Eckis is charged with conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Grant County deputies were given a package containing five pounds of methamphetamine hidden inside a VCR on Monday.

Deputies say Eckis showed up to the residence the meth had been shipped to demanding his package.
