Bismarck boy hit by car while walking to school bus
A 6-year-old Bismarck boy was hit by a car near Saxvik Elementary School Tuesday morning.
Bismarck police say the accident happened at the intersection of 20th and Rosser when the child was heading to the school bus.
Police say when they arrived the child was already heading to the hospital in a metro ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
There's no word yet on if the driver will face any charges.
The Bismarck Police Department issued a reminder to motorists to stop for school buses displaying flashing red lights. The fee for violating this law is $100 and six points.
The case is being sent to the city attorney to review the charges.
