BISMARCK, N.D. - Power Plates Meals is coming to Bismarck soon and Perk N Beans Coffee Roasters are heating things up.
Perk N Beans Coffee Roasters is a family-owned business that sells their beans locally and out of state.
They've been seeing good business, especially with their 'Grants Grind' batch, because a portion of that profit goes to Autism Organizations.
Making the coffee beans take an hour, but it's an enjoyable process.
"It's a lot of fun, it's actually, you should talk to my husband over there, he's the roast master mostly, but it is. It's amazing the process of when you get the green bean and roasting it and adding the flavors or the roast and stuff. It's a good way to make a living," said Dee Neustel, co-owner.
Another business opening its doors soon is Power Plates Meals.
It's a healthy meal prep company that makes fresh, ready to eat meals.
"Our main thing is providing a healthy balanced meal, that has clean simple ingredients," said Co-Owner Haylee Houkom.
They offer 11 different meals, costing $7.50 each.
Each meal is under 400 calories.
They hope to open their doors on Ottawa Street in North Bismarck by the end of October.
