MEDORA, N.D. - This is Bill Sorensen’s 40th year of being a part of the Medora Musical.

Sorensen has done over a thousand shows in Medora and Friday will start his seventh year as co-host of the musical. He announced earlier this spring that this will be his last year at the Musical. He says he’s already emotional thinking about being done, but he’s looking forward to a fun summer and a great show.

“The show is going to be a lot of fun this year. Some things that are going to be different I think. For example, they’re making fun of me. But other than that, we’re going to make sure we have the traditional things in there with a little Teddy Roosevelt and a little bit about Harold Shafer, so it should be a fun year,” said Sorensen

While this is Sorensen’s last year as co-host, he plans to stick around Medora in different roles after this season.
