Bearscat Bakehouse donating money from patriotic doughnuts for military care packages

Bismarck and Mandan Bearscat Bakehouse is partnering with Operation Red, White and Blue to send care packages to military members serving overseas.

$1 from every patriotic doughnut will be donated to cover the cost of shipping the care packages.

Owner Kevin Cavanagh says this is another way they can continue to give back to the community and military members.

“In the past we've given a free doughnut to a Vet, and that's a cool thing. But this allows us to help the community give to vets and those who are serving,” says Cavanagh.

Cavanagh expects to donate between $4,000-$5,000 to Operation Red, White and Blue.

The patriotic doughnuts will be available until November 16.
