Barnes and Noble partners with United Way for holiday book drive

MINOT, N.D. - Are you interested in giving back this holiday season?

You're able to help out a child in need thanks to the partnership of United Ways and Barnes and Noble.

Throughout November and December, Barnes and Noble is hosting their Holiday Book Drive.

Last year eighteen hundred books were donated locally to kids in the Magic City and this year their goal is to exceed that.

All donations must be purchased at Barnes and Noble.

You can check out their children's section for the perfect book for a child in need.

"It was a little over eighteen hundred books last year that we got. This year I think they're shooting for a little over two thousand. Every year it has grown a little bit so that's a big thanks to Barnes and Noble for making that little extra push and to their customers for the extra little gift," said United Way Director Rich Berg.

"Our customers are incredible and they're so giving and they're so kind and almost all of them are completely willing to jump on the opportunity to help out, especially around Christmas. I think it's really important and they see the importance of that," said Children's Bookseller Linda Todd.

If you're interested in making a book donation a bookseller is welcome to help you in store.
