BISMARCK, N.D. - Bank of America says there's a 1 in 3 chance the United States could hit a recession in the next year.
The president of First International Bank and Trust in Bismarck says North Dakota seems to be in a pretty good place.
"Our energy economy is doing great, we continue to see production in oil and additional investment in that area which is fun to see, especially when we see new capital invested in North Dakota, that's exciting. Obviously, you drive around right now and you see farmers starting to bring in crops," said David Mason, Bismarck president of First International Bank and Trust.
Mason says he believes Bismarck's economy is overall healthy and he isn't worried right now about a possible recession.
