UPDATE: Sheriff's deputy killed in shootout in Rolette County, N.D.

A law enforcement officer is dead after a shooting in Rolette County, N.D.
Investigators received a call at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday about a stolen pickup from the Devils Lake area.
Officers responded, and the suspect driving the stolen vehicle led law enforcement on a chase for about 15 miles through Rolette County reaching speeds of 85 to 90 mph. The chase ended south of Belcourt, when a shootout began.
The suspect and three Rolette County deputies and one Rolla police officer were involved.
During the shootout 29-year-old, Rolette County deputy Colt Allery was killed along with the suspect.
The incident is still under investigation and the North Dakota BCI has been called in to help investigate.
We have received reports that there was a shooting incident in Rolette County Wednesday night.
Authorities say they cannot confirm it at this time, but say the public is not in danger.
