UPDATE: 10/27 7:09 p.m. The North Dakota Department of Emergency Services has released information on three incidents involving shootings near DAPL protest sites.

In one situation, a private individual was run off the road by protesters and shot in the hand. The victim had a firearm in his vehicle at the time he was shot, and he is being treated for injuries.

At the Dakota Access Front Line Camp on Highway 1806 a woman was arrested for firing three shots from a .38 caliber revolver at law enforcement, narrowly missing a sheriff's deputy. She was taken into custody without force by law enforcement.

There were also reports of 10 shots fired in the area, possibly by local hunters. The incident is under investigation.

The Morton County Sheriff's Department has confirmed there were shots fired at the Backwater Bridge protest site north of the Sacred Stone Camp.

They are also reporting one woman arrested for firing weapon near police line at Front Line Camp. There are injuries related to that incident.

Law enforcement was not involved in either incident.

This is a developing story.
