BISMARCK, N.D. - Police say they found the missing Standing Rock 7-year-old Thursday in Bismarck.

The Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Bismarck Police Department arrested her father, Charles Gipp, on BIA warrants.

Seven-year-old Anela Gipp was reported missing on April 10, after not returning home on April 6 with her noncustodial father.

BPD says the child wasn’t in the home when they arrested Gipp. Chief of Police Dave Draovitch says they found her in another home in Bismarck.

Authorities say the child will be reunited with her family Thursday evening. BIA representatives are driving her to Standing Rock as of 6 p.m. Thursday.
