Packing a gym in pink was the goal of a high school volleyball game Tuesday night.
Crosstown rivals Bismarck High and Century played for more than just a win. They also raised money for the Edith Sanford Breast Foundation on this third annual "pink night". T-shirts, beads, hats and more were sold to benefit those with the disease.
"One hundred percent of every dollar we collect tonight will go to the Edith Sanford Breast Foundation helping women and men in the local community obtain access to 3D mammography,” Erin Green with the Sanford Health Foundation said.
Both varsity teams also donned pink jerseys, and each player dedicated the game to a person in their life affected by cancer.
