The search for a 57-year-old Mandan man, who may have drowned near the Fort Rice boat ramp, continues Friday.
The Morton County Sheriff's Department says a boater on the Missouri River called 911 Thursday morning when he came upon an idling boat that was in gear along the shore.
Police have confirmed that the missing person last made contact with his family late Wednesday afternoon as he was fishing along the Missouri River.
Friday, the North Dakota Game and Fish Department will use sonar equipment to help with the search.
