ORIGINAL STORY : The woman accused of shooting and killing a Grand Forks teen has now been charged.
Thirty-two-year-old Samantha Wilson is charged with one count of felony murder and another felony count of contact by bodily fluids. A Grand Forks County Judge set her bail at $250,000 early Tuesday morning.
Court documents say just after 9:30 Sunday night, Grand Forks County deputies were called to the 200 block of Lander Ave. in Northwood, N.D. for a male with a gunshot wound. The 15-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
Documents say Wilson used a 9mm pistol to fire at least one round and struck the victim in the chest/throat area. Police say the father of the teen killed and Wilson's two children were also in the home at the time of the incident.
Prior to arriving at the Grand Forks correctional center, Wilson became uncooperative and began banging her head on the windows and cage of the patrol car. Documents say Wilson also intentionally spit blood on at least one correctional officer.
It's still unclear what motive Wilson had or the exact relationship between her and the victim. Neighbors and former coworkers tell Valley News Live the victim is not Wilson's son.
Wilson is set to be in court again on March 2.
