MINOT, N.D. - If you've put off Christmas shopping this season and want to find something special for that special someone, The Taube Museum of Art has you covered.

The Annual Festival of the Arts is being showcased in the main gallery of the museum.

Artists from Minot and surrounding areas are able to showcase their work, ranging from paintings, to jewelry, to stained glass.

The event is a part of the museum's push to support local artists, and support art as gifts this holiday season.

The Taube Museum of Art’s Education Coordinator Margaret Lee likes the unique perspective giving art as a gift has.

“It's our opportunity to promote art as a gift. Anybody can go to any store and buy a gift, but artists spend so much time putting their love of art in it. And what a great gift to give somebody. Share a little art with everybody,” Lee said.

The event will be going on until Dec. 21.

The museum will be will also be open Sunday, Dec. 15 when the CP Holiday Train arrives, giving you the chance to support two great causes on the same night.
