Armstrong talks energy, climate committee in Bismarck

BISMARCK, N.D. - Rep. Kelly Armstrong, R-N.D., is serving on a select committee to discuss what to do about climate change, and he's seeking input all across the state.

“We are both food and energy secure and we need to maintain that strategic advantage and any solutions to carbon and clean air and clean water need to be considered,” said Armstrong.

Armstrong says solutions should not just export pollution or jeopardize national security. He also says the country needs to have an “all-the-above” energy strategy, and his goal in Washington is to get as much regulatory control back to the state.
