BISMARCK, N.D. - Representative Kelly Armstrong, R-N.D., met with Bismarck business and city leaders to discuss their needs and concerns.
Topics ranged from industry and national security to farming and interstate commerce. City staff was excited for the chance to meet with the representative so he can bring North Dakota issues back to Washington.
"One of the biggest things is building those relationships and those community partnerships. We're a small state, North Dakota, and having one representative for the entire state, one district, that puts a lot of stress and a lot of time constraints on that representative," said Mayor Steve Bakken, Bismarck.
