American Flag stolen from Bismarck elementary school

An American Flag was stolen Tuesday morning at Rita Murphy Elementary School in North East Bismarck.

The school filed a report to the Bismarck Police Department on the incident. Becky LaBella says the stolen flag hit the school and is very disappointing.

"We have service men and women that lay down their lives, and what that flag represents is the country and the nation as a whole and coming together. That somebody would steal that, I think it's super disappointing," says Becky LaBella, Safety Coordinator.

A Century High School grad who is currently serving in the Military is offering to replace the flag at the school.

The Bismarck Public School asks you to email Becky LaBella if you have any information on the stolen flag. We will have more information as it comes in.
