BISMARCK, N.D. - Firefighters gave the all clear early Friday morning after a business evacuated because of a potential chemical substance in the air.

The Bismarck Fire Department public information officer, Owen Fitzsimmons, says they got a call before 8 a.m. Friday that an employee had a burning sensation in his eyes and was feeling dizzy.

Fitzsimmons says before the owner of the business on east Main Ave. called 911 they evacuated everyone from the building in case it was a chemical in the air.

Officials say firefighters on scene took air samples with an air monitoring meter but found nothing.

The crew cleared the scene and say Metro Ambulance took an employee to the hospital. No word on what the man had.
