Accused Bismarck bank robber to undergo psychiatric evaluation

The Bismarck man arrested last month for attempting to rob a Bismarck bank will now undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

Fifty-four-year-old Rondal Heitsch is accused of walking into Starion Bank on April 27 in Bismarck and asking for money, he also told staff he had a bomb in his backpack.

Heitsch's psychiatric evaluation will be to determine if he is competent for the case to continue.
