69th Bomb Squadron Commander removed from command

MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. - Lt. Col. Paul Goossen was removed from command of the 69th Bomb Squadron at Minot Air Force Base Tuesday, according to 5th Bomb Wing public affairs.

The release cites 'a loss of trust and confidence from his failure to maintain a professional workplace environment.'

Lt. Col. Dennis Zabka has assumed command of the squadron.

On Nov. 27, Lt. Col. Paul Goossen was removed from command of the 69th Bomb Squadron due to a loss of trust and confidence from his failure to maintain a professional workplace environment. The Air Force values and encourages a positive work atmosphere where all Airmen are treated with dignity and respect and leadership actions that do not reflect these ideals are not condoned.

Lt. Col. Dennis Zabka, former 5th OSS director of operations, assumed command of the 69th BS the same day.​
