BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — UPDATE: We now know the name of the motorcycle rider killed in a head-on collision. Police say 54-year-old Deon Prinsloo crossed the center line and collided with a pickup truck on Highway 10 in Burleigh County, three miles east of Bismarck.
ORIGINAL STORY: The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a motorcyclist has died in a head-on crash with a pickup truck near Bismarck.
The patrol says the pickup was headed west on Highway 10 when the motorcycle crossed into its lane and was struck shortly after midnight Monday. A 54-year-old man from Wing was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 52-year-old Bismarck woman driving the pickup was not injured. The man has not been identified.
