BISMARCK, N.D. - One bill going through the House Committee for transportation has to do with warming-up your vehicle when it's bitterly cold.
For years in North Dakota, there's been a law on the books that makes it illegal to run your car unattended.
Law enforcement that we talked to were either unaware of the law or don't enforce it.
A bill moved through committee Friday that will change that law making it legal as long as your brakes are set. Next it will go before the House for a vote.
