BISMARCK, N.D. - Daniel Brunskill is a left guard for the San Francisco 49ers.

Daniel's family relocated to Bismarck when his two sisters joined the University of Mary softball team.

Daniel grew up in rural California and attended San Diego State.

He was picked up by the Atlanta Falcons before playing for the AAF, a league that folded before the first season ended.

There he was discovered and picked up by San Francisco.

"The thing about Daniel is he has a lot of self-drive and he will perfect what he's doing until he succeeds,” said Michael Brunskill, Daniels' dad.

Daniel's family will all be making the trip from Bismarck to Miami to watch Daniel in his first Super Bowl.
