WATFORD CITY, N.D. - Four people were injured in a crash with a Watford City police car early Sunday morning.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says just before 1 a.m., two Watford City police vehicles were traveling north on Main Street on their way to an emergency call. Both had their emergency lights on.

Troopers say a 17-year-old male driver pulled over and yielded for the first police car, but then pulled back onto the road. The second police car struck the teen's vehicle.

Two officers in that car, 31-year-old Daniel Halonen and 36-year-old Andrew Eisenschenk, as well as the teen and his 36-year-old passenger, suffered minor injuries.

The Highway Patrol cited the teen for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle and no drivers license.
