Semi-truck rolls over spilling up to 300 gallons of diesel

A 45-year-old man was hurt around 10 a.m. in a rollover accident on Interstate 29, one mile north of Manvel. The Highway Patrol says the man was driving a semi pulling a diesel tanker when it entered the ditch and rolled over. The diesel tanker released up to 300 gallons of highway diesel fuel into a water-filled ditch. The ND Health Department was notified and a temporary dam was built to contain the spill. The 45-year-old driver was taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks for treatment.
