Over the weekend, Williston police say three people from Wolf Point, Mont. were arrested for trying to steal more than $3,000 in merchandise from Williston’s Walmart.

Police arrested 38-year-old Eric Bruce Fowler, 43-year-old Rebecca Ann Fowler and 28-year-old Ronette Rachelle Fowler Fowler after they found the SUV they used to flee from Walmart packed with items from the store, and smelling like marijuana.

Two of the suspects have outstanding warrants. Officers also discovered meth, heroin and a bottle of suspected real or fake urine.

Walmart staff told police the two women had gone to self-checkout with two carts of items from the store, put them in bags, but did not pay.

When staff confronted them at the exit, they took off. All three Fowlers face multiple charges, including drug possession and theft.
