The Stevensons say three is their magic number. They dated for three months, were engaged for thee days; and for the third year in a row, they've had a child on Sept. 1.

"Wow. I couldn't believe it because it's pretty uncommon to have three kids a year apart on the same day. I just couldn't believe it. Just the day god picked for us to have our babies on," said mom Lauren Stevenson.

Two-year-old Axel Lee, 1-year-old Tommie Lee, and newborn Henry Lee all share the spotlight for their Sept. 1 birthdays.

Parents Lauren and Seth Stevenson say their sequential births were a surprise to them.

"He was born in September, and after he came we found out we were pregnant with her and it happened to be September, and pregnant with Henry and happened to be September, and all on the first." -- Lauren Stevenson, Mom

Dr. William Lowe of CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson delivered all three of the Stevenson children.

"I think it's going to be a lot like herding cats. Going to be very difficult. a lot of fun. That's why they're young, they can do the running around they need to do. If the grandparents keep all three for the weekend, they're going to be exhausted by the end of the weekend, I'm pretty sure," said Dr. Lowe.

The Stevensons say they're going to handle future birthdays the best way they know how.

"Just going to have one big party, one big bounce house, probably each give them a separate cake, and their own presents," said Lauren.

They say they're going to take a break from having kids, but there may be a fourth child born on Sept. 1 in the distant future.
