BISMARCK, N.D. - The KMOT AG Expo starts tomorrow, but dozens of people have already gathered at the State Fair Event Center to get ready for the three-day event.
Producers and vendors began setting up this morning for the Midwest's largest indoor farm show. This is the 49th KMOT Ag Expo, and some vendors have been coming to Minot for decades to attend the show.
Right now, the space looks empty but soon it will be filled with nearly 40,000 people.
Craig Giroux sells farm equipment. He says he is excited to help farmers get the products they need after a rough season last year.
“Anything that can meet their needs, if it can be done faster whether it’s the speed on the farm getting more acres done per hour, or more efficiently,” said Giroux, Enerbase sales manager.
Giroux will be surrounded by more than 300 other exhibits. He says the show is a great way for farmers and ranchers to stay up-to-date on the newest technology.
“People like getting out looking at the products that are available. It's changing so fast, I would say over the last decade there have been more changes to some of the farm equipment as far as the accuracy that is being done in precision farming,” said Giroux.

The expo runs Wednesday through Friday. Doors open at 9 a.m. each day, and we'll be bringing you coverage of the show each day.
