MINOT, N.D. - The 2019 Rolliefest Kite Fly will be happening all weekend long in Minot.
The festival is in memory of the late Rollie Metz who was an avid kite flyer with his friend Paul Luetzen.
Luetzen is continuing the tradition with a festival full of fun with wings and strings.
You can bring an instrument to play for a jam session or a kite to fly in the sky. The festival will continue Aug.11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the grassy area at 27th Street Northwest and Fourth Avenue Northwest.
