2019 Minot Companions for Children 'Mentors of the Year' announced
A local mentor program recently awarded two leaders who have gone above and beyond in service.
The Companions for Children program awarded Lynda Langseth and Jack Pieper with the 2019 Mentor of the Year Award.
Langseth has been with the program for more than a year. The honor is given to mentors who have shown outstanding leadership.
Langseth said she was surprised to receive the award.
“It was a great honor, and I was surprised and humbled because there are a lot of great mentors out there, and I have gotten a chance to meet them, and I am very humbled to be given the award,” said Langseth.
