Fishing equipment available for rent at the Bismarck Library

BISMARCK, N.D. - Did you know you can rent fishing gear from the Bismarck Public Library?

Through a partnership with North Dakota Game and Fish, the library provides fishing poles, a tackle box and a fishing guide for library users to check out.

You can get up to five poles at a time, can have the gear for up to two weeks, and get to keep the tackle box when you're all done.

"Our vision is to provide personal enrichment to the whole community,” Library Director Christine Kujawa said. “And we look at that as all different sorts of things, not just books, but we have special collections such as the fishing poles."

The library has more than 20 poles in total they can rent out.
