Hi y’all, I’m Hayley Boland!

I am a Virginia native, but a Carolina girl at heart. I grew up in Roanoke, Virginia, and graduated in December 2019 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Go Tar Heels!

During the summer of 2019, I interned for Andrea Mitchell Reports on MSNBC in Washington, D.C. I’ve also interned and reported for my hometown news station, WFXR-TV in Roanoke. While at UNC, I reported and anchored for our award-winning student newscast, Carolina Week.

I couldn’t be more excited to bring the people of Williston their evening news as the anchor for The Evening Report at 6 and The Night Report at 10 on KUMV.

If I’m not anchoring or reporting, you can probably either find me watching Carolina basketball or shopping at Target- two of my favorite activities.

Any story ideas? Feel free to reach out to me. You can email me at hayley.boland@kumv.com, or follow me on Facebook: @HayleyBolandKUMV.
