Zac Summers is thrilled to call Atlanta home - a city he dreamed of one day working in when he started his broadcast career nearly a decade ago.
Zac joined Atlanta News First in December of 2020. Before moving to Atlanta, Zac spent three years at the #1 station in Kansas City, Missouri, covering devasting storms, crippling crime, scandal-plagued politicians, a World Championship Chiefs team, and human-interest stories.
Zac was born and raised in the Midwest, but the job has taken him all over the country, from the picturesque Northwest to the heart of Texas – and now here in the “city in a forest.” It’s been quite the journey.
