Joshua Bowering is a Houston native now covering news in Central Texas for KWTX News 10.
Graduating from LSU in May of 2022, Josh spent almost 4 years working for the student-run campus television station, Tiger TV. During his time there, he worked as a reporter, news director and station manager.
Although he primarily reports news, some of his fondest memories would be covering LSU football during their 2019 National Championship season led by Quarterback Joe Burrow.
During that time Josh had the opportunity to travel to Austin to cover the LSU vs UT football game as well as the Texas A&M vs LSU football game at home in Death Valley. If you haven’t been to a football game in Death Valley, Josh highly recommends it.
Josh is a former competitive swimmer and diver as well as a licensed scuba diver! When he doesn’t have a camera or microphone in his hand, Josh can be found working on his Jeep or partaking in outdoor activities to stay active.
No stranger to travel, Josh has done a fair share of national and international travel as well, most notably spending 20 days in Peru.
Happy to call Central Texas home, Josh is looking forward to expanding his abilities as a reporter and strengthening his connections with those that live in the surrounding area.
