Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter
I was born in Sioux Falls, SD but lived in the suburbs in the town of Brandon.
I attended South Dakota State University where I studied broadcast journalism and competed for the Jackrabbits in cross country and track and field. During my time at SDSU I won three Summit League titles – two as a team member in cross country and an individual title at 5,000 meters in outdoor track.
After SDSU, I went to work at KSFY-TV in Sioux Falls, SD, starting as a production assistant making my way up to sports reporter and fill-in-anchor. After KSFY, I went to work for Badlands TV becoming an associate producer and on-air talent for Badlands Motor Speedway, calling some of the highest-paying dirt track races in the country. Shortly after that, I spent two years as the Sports Director for KCWY TV in Casper, Wyoming.
In my free time I love watching sports and Netflix, playing golf, doing some jogging, playing fantasy football, or enjoying the local dirt track racing scene.
