I was always told I have a voice for radio, so I decided to work in broadcast news, and I developed an interest in video editing in college. TV news seemed the most practical way to utilize my interests... I started out working at KFYR - KMOT, while in college. I got a text from a friend, who was working at the station as an intern, letting me know that the station was looking for someone who could work part-time booth producing evening shows. I knew I couldn't pass up the opportunity to learn more about broadcast TV so I decided to apply and I got far more than I bargained for: excellent colleagues, a dynamic workload, and the best teachers that I could ask for.
