Barricaded man pleads guilty and sentenced for six charges in two counties
BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - A man accused of beating a woman and barricading himself in a residence for five hours pleaded guilty Friday. He was sentenced Wednesday for six various charges in Burleigh and Morton counties.
Trevis Tessaro pleaded guilty to felonious restraint, terrorizing and domestic violence in Morton County, and pleaded guilty to felonious restraint, terrorizing and preventing arrest in Burleigh County.
He was sentenced Wednesday to four years in prison with credit for 370 days served for all six charges.
Bismarck police say Tessaro assaulted a woman in a car when driving home from New Salem. Police located him at his residence in Bismarck where he barricaded himself inside for five hours.
