Man sentenced to 7 years for causing brain injury during assault

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - A Bismarck man was sentenced to prison Friday after he was found guilty of aggravated assault causing permanent loss of impairment in January.
Benedict Heart was sentenced to seven years in prison with three years of probation.
Bismarck Police say Heart kicked a victim in the face in July 2020, which caused a traumatic brain injury.
