Minot Cheer to host winter state competition this weekend

MINOT, N.D. – The Minot Cheer team is getting set to host the North Dakota Cheer Coach Association Winter State Competition on Saturday at the Minot Municipal Auditorium at 1 p.m.

Isabella Howard described what the team is bringing to the stage.

“I love cheering for the teams. That’s basically why I joined the squad, but then to get our time to shine is really nice. It shows off what we can do, not just our support for the other team,” said Howard, junior.

Doors will open at 12 p.m. Admission is cash only, and it’s $10 for adults and $5 for students. Masks are required at the event.
