BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - A 30-year-old man was sentenced in Federal court Tuesday, for possession and intent to distribute oxycodone pills in Bismarck.
Deangelo Orlando will spend 71 months in prison with three years of supervised release.
In a plea agreement, Orlando’s sentencing for the two charges will run concurrent with each other.
Prosecutors say Orlando was transporting the pills from Michigan to North Dakota and would distribute them in Bismarck and Mandan.
Police stopped Orlando in June of 2019 and found more than 2,700 oxycodone pills in his luggage.
