Allan Savory, born in Zimbabwe and educated in Africa, has been named “the person doing the most for the environment on a global scale.” Savory is founder and president of the Savory Institute, Boulder, Colo. He has has provided training and education throughout the world and now he’s coming to North Dakota!
Before attending this once-in-a-lifetime event, be sure to watch the TED Talk Savory gave in 2013. “How to Fight Desertification and Reverse Climate Change” has received more than 3.8 million views and in 2014 was voted one of the 50 most intriguing TED Talks of all time. There is no charge for this public event, but seating is limited to 465. So be sure to register for your free ticket today! You can also attend without a ticket. However, registrations will allow us to track the number of attendees for the reception at 8:30 p.m., following Savory’s talk.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is ample parking on the grounds of the North Dakota Heritage Center. We encourage you to come early and tour North Dakota’s state museum. For more information on the North Dakota Heritage Center, go to https://statemuseum.nd.gov/

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Your printed ticket is not necessary to attend the event. We encourage you to register, however, so we can plan on how many might attend and how much food we need for the reception at 8:30 p.m.
