MomsEveryday: Painting Your Nails

Posted: Updated:

It's always a bummer smudging your freshly painted nails. We have some simple solutions for moms on the go.

First, when applying your polish, apply two thin layers. They will dry faster and the color will be more intense. Ready to dry? It sounds crazy, but dipping your finger nails into a bowl of ice water for a few seconds will freeze dry your nail polish.

After dunking, let your nails air dry for two minutes.

Another trick is to blow dry them with your blow dryer's cool setting and after making sure your manicure is beautiful you want it to last. Protect your set by applying a fresh topcoat every other day.

And wear rubber gloves when cleaning or while pulling weeds from the garden.
