Downtown Task Force Displays Strategic Improvement Options

Posted: Updated:

Part of the strategic plan for the city of Bismarck includes improvements to downtown.

And today, visitors at Urban Harvest got a chance to look at several ideas for what downtown could look like and put a dot on the ideas they liked.

"The information from today's dot-o-cracy is going to be used for the design team so they can go ahead and say this is kind of what the public is liking, and this is the direction we should push our downtown design guidelines. They'll take all of that into account. Along with some technical opinions from some of the local architecture groups and firms in Bismarck," says Kate Herzog, the assistant director of the Downtowners.

If you would like to give any input or to see the strategic plan visit the city of Bismarck's website at www.bismarcknd.gov and click strategic plan.
