Dogs Take to the Air for Frisbees at the Fair

Posted: Updated:

If you didn't manage to get grandstand tickets before they sold out, there is still plenty of free entertainment at the North Dakota State Fair.

The Flying Hounds Frisbee dogs put on three shows every day. The trick dog show features a choreographed production of pups soaring, twirling and catching frisbees. The show traveled to the North Dakota State Fair all the way from Louisville, Kentucky.

"My wife and myself come out for 25 minutes with energy, lots of music, and most importantly, lots of fun with our dogs," says Frisbee Dog Trainer Jeff Wright. "They perform dancing tricks, acrobatic tricks, frisbee dog tricks and we get the crowd involved with a lot of the kids as well during the performance. So it's a lot of fun and we hope to see everyone out," he adds.

The Wright family quit their former jobs in Kentucky to hit the road full time with their traveling frisbee dogs. They perform at 1:30, 4 and 7pm every day at the Fair.
